Frisco 72-in Faux Fur Cat Tree & Condo

What Cats.com found on a month-long test

Cats.com ranks the Frisco 72-in Faux Fur Cat Tree first in its roundup of 13 cat trees, as Overall Best, with a printed rating of 9.0/10. The reviewer describes it as great for multi-cat homes and lists three beds, two houses, several places to scratch and two types of toys.

She reports that her cats especially like lying on the bottom level to play with the rope toy, playing with the toy mice, and napping in the top house.

Anchor it: shakiness at the top beds

Cats.com notes that the Chewy listing describes the wall mount as optional, but the reviewer noticed some shakiness when her cats jumped to the top beds and says she definitely recommends securing the tree to the wall for safety.

Durability reports are mixed

Cats.com reports that some buyers take issue with the build, with a few saying quality has dropped over time, and lists torn carpeting or broken parts as its one con. The reviewer says she did not notice any issues after over a month, and adds that results may vary between individual units or with how roughly a cat plays.

Cats.com gives the dimensions as 72 by 21.3 by 23.2 inches, with a 33-pound weight capacity, engineered wood construction and a faux fleece covering. It is sold in cream, gray, brown, black, blue and cheetah.
