Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
This policy explains what information Verdict (verdict-reviews.com) collects when you visit, why we collect it, and which third-party services see what. Short version: we collect very little, we don't use cookies for tracking, and we don't sell anything to anyone.
What we collect
Anonymous analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-respecting, self-hosted analytics tool. It records aggregate pageview counts, referrers, country (derived from IP and then discarded), screen size, and which browser/OS family you use. No cookies are set and we don't correlate visits to a single person across sessions.
Contact form submissions. If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provided. These are delivered to our email inbox via Resend. We use that address only to reply to you. We don't add it to any mailing list and we don't share it.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, and requested URL — for up to a few weeks for security and diagnostic purposes. We don't look at these unless we're investigating an outage or abuse.
What we don't collect
- No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
- No newsletter signups or email captures (we don't have one).
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No location data beyond country-level analytics.
Third parties
When you load a page, your browser may communicate with the following services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and the Cloudflare Pages host that serves the site. (policy)
- Cloudflare R2 — hosts product images. Loading images involves a request to
pub-…r2.dev. - Amazon Associates — when you click an “Buy on Amazon” link, you're redirected to Amazon. If you purchase, we receive a small commission. Amazon's own cookies and tracking apply once you arrive at their site. (policy)
- Google AdSense (where present) — Google may set cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can opt out at Google's Ads Settings. (policy)
- Pinterest — we maintain a publisher profile (pinterest.com/verdictreviews) and post pins linking back to our review pages. Pinterest's tracking applies if you click through one of our pins. (policy)
- Resend — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox. (policy)
Affiliate disclosure
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate relationships do not influence our rankings. See the Methodology page for how rankings are produced.
Children's data
Verdict isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we don't hold much (see above), in practice this means: if you've emailed us, we can delete the email thread. Reach out via the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change which services are involved or what we collect, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be summarized here.
