The optional Intelligent Tracking Module adds subject tracking, though Tom's Guide notes it cannot track non-human subjects. DJI claims 13 hours of battery life; TechRadar averaged around half of that in testing. PCMag lists the smartphone activation required before first use as a con, Digital Camera World objects that it insists on a smartphone sign-up, and TechRadar found the arms stiff when balancing.

The Zhiyun Weebill 3E is the compact, budget end of Zhiyun's gimbal line: a 990g body roughly the footprint of a sheet of A4 paper, a 3kg payload rating and a quoted 16 hours of runtime. Digital Camera World and First Quadcopter both treat it as a travel gimbal first, and both point at the same omissions against the 3S: no built-in fill light, no TransMount port and no integrated quick release for portrait mode. Creators who want long battery life cheaply are the fit.
