One button and a slope switch
The Precision Pro NX10 Slope is a 6x laser rangefinder with adaptive slope and a switch that turns slope off for tournament play. Plugged In Golf found it exceptionally easy to use: there is one button on top that powers it on and takes a yardage, plus the slope switch, and the viewfinder shows the yardage in large numbers below the aiming reticle with the slope-adjusted figure to the right and nothing else cluttering the view.
Golf Monthly, which made it a 2023 Editor's Choice, found it worked great right out of the box, giving both the true distance and the slope-adjusted 'what it plays' number at a press of the button, with a bright LCD that stays easy to read in bright sunlight.
Accuracy and speed
Plugged In Golf found its accuracy very strong, consistently matching the yardages from other rangefinders and on-course markings. Speed was very quick but not quite in the elite category, a difference the reviewer put at a fraction of a second. A short pulse vibration confirms when it locks onto a target, and Golf Monthly called it fast, accurate, lightweight and versatile.
Golf Monthly's one reservation is stability: it has no stabilisation feature, and people who naturally shake may have difficulty with visually small, far-away targets such as flags.
Swappable panels and a magnetic mount
The NX10's party trick is customization. Plugged In Golf notes the side panel is held on by a magnet and swaps without tools, while the front panel needs the included Allen wrench, and the screws and wrench are small and easy to lose. Golf Monthly saw the optional skins as a bit of a sideshow on an otherwise great product. Both outlets liked the built-in magnetic cart mount, and Plugged In Golf found the unit sturdy in hand with a stout button and switch.
Value and support
Plugged In Golf rated it a good value for a dependable rangefinder if you prefer ease of use to a wide array of features, and pointed to Precision Pro's lifetime battery replacement service. Golf Monthly cites a three-year replacement warranty and a free battery replacement program. Precision Pro's own store lists it at $249.99.

Not in the average — we derived this score from the review's words, and a publisher printed a score for this product, so the printed number counts instead.
Our 4.6 score is the average of 1 of the scored reviews above, each adjusted for how strictly its publisher scores. 1 derived score above is not in the average because a publisher printed a score for this product. Ratings marked * were derived from the reviewer’s written analysis or video transcript — the publisher didn’t print an explicit numeric score, so we inferred one from their own words.
