The Spruce's best inflatable pick
The Spruce set the MiHigh up on its patio and was impressed with how quickly and easily it inflated, crediting the included hand pump as very effective. It is a barrel-style tub, so the footprint is not huge, and The Spruce says setup is quick and easy enough that taking it down when the space is needed is not a significant issue.
The Spruce lists it at 27.5 by 31.5 inches without the chiller, 92 gallons, 16 pounds dry and 782 pounds filled, in fiberglass-reinforced PVC, for indoor or outdoor use.
Ice or the optional chiller
The tub can be used with bags of ice, with MiHigh's 8-pound MegaCube ice block, or with MiHigh's electric chiller, which The Spruce used in its test. It found the chiller hooked up easily and chilled the water fast, though it does not get as cold as others: the minimum is 41 degrees, which The Spruce still calls more than cold enough for a very bracing plunge.
The box contains the tub, a cover, a storage bag and an air pump, with the chiller optional. MiHigh's own store lists the tub at $599, marked down from $799.
Cover, controls and getting in
The cover fastens with two secure clips that keep debris out and help insulate the water; The Spruce says they kept a toddler from pulling the cover off. It wished the chiller's control panel had some kind of lockout, since the temperature can be changed by anyone who reaches it.
The Spruce's other complaint is access: the tub is tough to get into for shorter people.
