Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2
The verdict

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is the benchmark competitive gaming mouse — it's what a large fraction of pro CS:GO/Valorant players actually use. Tom's Guide 4.5/5 and PCMag 4/5 agree the HERO 2 sensor, 8k polling, and 95-hour battery make it the most complete flagship here. The only real knock is the shape being a refinement rather than a rethink; if you already disliked v1's ambidextrous-lean form factor, try the DeathAdder V3 Pro instead.

Strengths

  • +Featherlight 60g with tuned HERO 2 sensor rated to 44,000 DPI and 8,000 Hz polling — reference spec for esports
  • +Battery life up to 95 hours with USB-C charging (upgrade over the micro-USB on v1)
  • +Hybrid optical-mechanical switches feel crisp with a rated 100M click lifespan
  • +PTFE feet glide smoothly on most pads; included grip tape for extra traction
  • +Cross-platform Logitech G HUB support — shared with other Logitech G gear

Watch-outs

  • Shape is a minor refinement of the original — if the v1 didn't fit your hand, v2 won't fix it
  • No RGB lighting (by design for weight) — a turn-off for some buyers
  • Premium price; $160+ MSRP is among the highest in this category
