The Frida Baby 3 in 1 XL is a 6-litre ultrasonic cool-mist humidifier with an essential-oil diffuser pad and a nightlight. In Aki's unboxing video the mist dial, the two independently aimable mist vents and the three-level touch nightlight all worked as described, and the output at maximum looked strong. Aki was less impressed by the headline feature: water poured onto the closed lid spilled off the sides, and the reviewer called that fill method 'a little bit gimmicky', preferring to lift the lid and pour straight into the tank. Baby To Child's video review called the unit bulky and said the tank may be more than a small room needs.

Two ways to fill, one of them messy
Aki's video shows both refill methods. The lid lifts off so water can be poured straight into the removable tank, or water can be poured onto the closed lid, which has a water symbol marking where it drains through. When Aki tried the second method the water spilled off the side of the lid; the reviewer advised pouring slowly, said it 'feels a little bit gimmicky', and went back to filling the open tank. Aki also warned against pouring water into the central tube.
Baby To Child's video review took the opposite view of the same feature, calling the top fill a help for refills in the middle of the night and noting that the carry handle makes the tank easy to move.
Dial, mist vents and nightlight
Control is a single dial: fully left is off, and turning it right raises the mist to its maximum. In Aki's video mist appeared as soon as the dial was turned, and at full output the reviewer called it 'super powerful'. The top has two vents, each of which can be aimed independently.
The nightlight is a touch-sensitive button rather than a physical switch. Aki's footage shows it stepping through three brightness levels, with the glow coming from the base and reflecting off the floor. Baby To Child described the nightlight as not adjustable and possibly too bright at night, which does not match what Aki demonstrated on camera.
What is in the box, and cleaning
Aki's unit, bought from Amazon, arrived in a damaged outer box with a chewed-up manual, though the humidifier itself worked. Inside were the humidifier, its power adapter and a cleaning brush. The base holds the mist generator, with a separate lower layer for the LED light and the pad that takes essential oil.
Frida's Amazon listing says oils go on the diffuser pad only, because oil in the water tank damages the unit, and tells owners to empty and wipe the tank daily and to clean and descale it weekly.
Size and who it suits
Baby To Child, which says it used the humidifier in a nursery for a few weeks, reported even mist with no wet spots on nearby furniture and quiet operation. Its criticisms were about size: the unit is bulky, and the reviewer said the 6-litre tank may be more than a small room or apartment needs. The same video repeats Frida's claims of up to 60 hours per fill and coverage of 600 square feet without measuring either.
Strengths
- +Two ways to fill from the top: lift the lid and pour into the tank, or pour onto the closed lid
- +Two mist vents that can be aimed independently, as shown in Aki's video
- +Touch nightlight with three brightness levels, as shown in Aki's video
Watch-outs
- −Water poured onto the closed lid spilled off the sides in Aki's video; Aki called the method 'a little bit gimmicky'
- −Bulky, and the 6L tank may be too large for smaller rooms, according to Baby To Child
- −Mist level is set by a manual dial only
How it compares
Like the Levoit LV600S Smart, the Frida Baby 3 in 1 XL holds 6 litres, but it is controlled by a single manual dial where the Levoit adds warm mist, a humidity sensor and app control. The Dreo HM735S's 11-litre tank is nearly twice the size. Unlike the bottom-fill Crane Adorables, the Frida fills from the top.
