NordicTrack X24 Bike
Ranked #2 in Best Smart Exercise Bikes
NordicTrack X24 Bike
3 sources$1,999.99as of Oct 11

The NordicTrack X24 Bike is an iFIT-connected studio bike with a 24-inch pivoting touchscreen and a frame that tilts from a -10% decline to a 20% incline. OutdoorGearLab scored it 85 out of 100 and named it its best overall exercise bike, Treadmill Review Guru gave it an overall score of 89, and Garage Gym Reviews rated it 4.6 out of 5. All three praise the incline rides and the screen. The reservations are practical ones: it ships in a 205-pound box and is hard to move, most of its features need a $39-per-month iFIT membership, and OutdoorGearLab reports that its test bikes arrived with screens that did not work, followed by a poor customer service experience.

Strengths
  • — Frame tilts from -10% decline to 20% incline, adjusted automatically during iFIT rides
  • — 24-inch pivoting HD touchscreen with Netflix and Prime Video access
  • — 24 levels of quiet magnetic resistance
Watch-outs
  • — Heavy and difficult to move; ships in a 205-pound box (OutdoorGearLab)
  • — OutdoorGearLab received bikes with non-working screens and rates NordicTrack's customer service poorly
  • — Limited features without the $39-per-month iFIT membership (Treadmill Review Guru)
Peloton Cross Training Bike+
Ranked #1 in Best Smart Exercise Bikes
Peloton Cross Training Bike+
4 sources$2,695as of Oct 10

The Peloton Cross Training Bike+ is the 2025 replacement for the original Bike+, adding an AI movement-tracking camera, voice control, a clip-on fan, a phone tray and a wider saddle to the 23.8-inch swivel screen and automatic resistance the older model already had. PCMag gave it an Editors' Choice after eight weeks, finding the rep counting accurate for the most part but the strength tracking limited to light, medium and heavy dumbbell settings. Engadget, after roughly four months, said the camera's guidance rarely made mistakes but noted it does not extend to yoga or pilates. Steady Athlete reported a screen wobble that worsens in standing sprints and a pedal squeak within the first month. The bike costs $2,695 and needs the $49.99-a-month All-Access membership for classes.

Strengths
  • — Movement-tracking camera counts reps and gives form corrections in strength classes; PCMag found it very rarely misses actual reps.
  • — Auto-Resistance adjusts to the instructor's cues; PCMag reports it changes right in time with each cue.
  • — 23.8-inch Full HD screen rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts for floor workouts, per PCMag.
Watch-outs
  • — $2,695 plus a $49.99 monthly All-Access membership; without it the bike only works in Just Ride mode, per PCMag.
  • — Steady Athlete reported screen wobble that gets worse during standing sprints, and that Peloton's tightening fix did not help.
  • — Strength tracking only knows light, medium and heavy dumbbells; PCMag could not edit the tracked weight to an exact value afterward.
