The Merach UltraWalk W60 Plus is a steel-framed walking pad with auto-incline up to 12% and a 400 lb weight capacity. Garage Gym Reviews gave it 4.3 out of 5 after its tester found it exceptionally stable and quiet, and Run to the Finish scored it 91% after using it daily, including on work calls. Both note its 4 mph top speed rules out real running, and there is no handrail for steep incline walking.

Strengths
  • — Supports users up to 400 lb on a steel frame, per Garage Gym Reviews
  • — Auto-incline up to 12%, which Run to the Finish says raises intensity dramatically
  • — Quiet brushless motor: Run to the Finish took client calls on it unnoticed
Watch-outs
  • — Top speed of 4 mph is a fast walk, not a jog, per both reviews
  • — No handrail, so Run to the Finish does not think 12% incline suits everyone
  • — Garage Gym Reviews scored tech capabilities only 3 out of 5

The WalkingPad C2 Mini is a KingSmith walking pad whose belt folds in half for storage. Tom's Guide found it easy to store and comfortable underfoot but called the automatic speed mode confusing and the app glitchy; TechRadar found the fold worked well while the automatic mode did not, and Garage Gym Reviews scored it 4 out of 5 for footprint but marked it down for a 220 lb weight limit and an app it found inconvenient. All three scored it in the lower-middle of their scales.

Strengths
  • — Belt folds in half for storage; Tom's Guide lists 'easy to store' and TechRadar says the foldable design 'works perfectly'
  • — Arrives fully built and ready to use once plugged in, per TechRadar
  • — 47 x 15.7 in belt that Tom's Guide and TechRadar both rate as a good size
Watch-outs
  • — Automatic speed mode is confusing (Tom's Guide) or simply 'doesn't work' (TechRadar)
  • — KS Fit app is glitchy, per Tom's Guide, and 'not very user friendly', per TechRadar
  • — 220 lb maximum user weight, which Garage Gym Reviews scored 3 out of 5
