The Kurgo Journey Air Dog Harness is praised for its durability and reflective design, making it suitable for active dogs and adventurers. Reviewers noted its sturdiness through hiking and water activities, with particular praise for the well-constructed slides and handle. However, some found it overpriced and criticized the plastic buckles and decorative loops that serve no functional purpose. It's ideal for hikers and family dogs but may not suit very large or strong dogs due to its aluminum fixtures and weight.

— Sturdy construction with no snags despite rigorous use in hiking, swimming, and rough terrain
— Well-designed slides with finger dips for easy adjustment even when worn
