Hearingtracker awarded the Elehear Beyond Pro a SoundScore of 4.2 out of 5, noting its above-average audio clarity and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming capabilities across iOS and Android devices. The receiver-in-canal design provides up to 18 hours of battery life per charge and includes an app for tone balance adjustment from Brighter to Deeper, though the body size is larger than many competing hearing aids, making them more visible on the ear. Users can customize their fit using various included domes, but those prioritizing discreet aesthetics may find the device too noticeable. This model fits individuals seeking reliable direct streaming and customizable sound profiles who do not mind a slightly bulkier form factor.

Sennheiser All-Day Clear

4.8

2 sources$899.95as of Oct 18

The Sennheiser All-Day Clear utilizes a discreet receiver-in-canal design that provides comfortable all-day wear and robust IP68 water resistance, as Uhchearing found. Integrated Bluetooth enables seamless streaming to iOS and Android devices for calls and media, with Hearingtracker noting reliable connectivity for everyday use. However, the device relies heavily on its companion app for self-fitting controls rather than offering extensive onboard buttons, a limitation that restricts manual adjustments without a smartphone. While it delivers clear sound in quiet environments, Hearingtracker found weaker performance in noisy places compared to many comparable prescription models. This product fits users who prioritize comfort and smartphone integration over advanced noise cancellation or physical control convenience.

Strengths

— Receiver-in-canal design provides comfortable all-day wear and a discreet appearance.
— Integrated Bluetooth enables seamless streaming to both iOS and Android devices for calls and media.
— Self-fitting via the companion app allows users to customize sound profiles without an appointment.

Watch-outs

— User controls are limited, relying primarily on the mobile app rather than extensive onboard buttons.
— The charging case is described as relatively basic by reviewers.

How they stack up

Elehear Beyond

The Elehear Beyond provides superior audio clarity and a higher SoundScore than the Audien Atom X, which struggles with speech intelligibility. While it shares Bluetooth streaming capabilities with the Jabra Enhance Plus, the Elehear Beyond supports both iOS and Android, whereas the Jabra device is restricted to Apple users only.

Sennheiser All-Day Clear

The Sennheiser All-Day Clear offers robust IP68 water resistance and seamless Bluetooth streaming to both iOS and Android, unlike the Jabra Enhance Plus which is limited to iOS. It provides better comfort for all-day wear than the Audien Atom X but relies heavily on its app for controls rather than offering physical buttons like those found on basic models.
