The Cuisinart CPT-122 delivers strong toasting performance in a compact, budget-friendly design. Reviewers noted its ability to produce visible browning on light settings and consistent results across multiple toasting rounds. While it excels at regular bread toasting, it underperforms with bagels and waffles. The toaster's small footprint and seven shade settings make it suitable for most households, though those who frequently toast bagels may want to consider alternatives.

Strengths

— TechGearLab found it consistently produces golden-brown toast with visible browning even on light settings
— Seven shade settings provide good flexibility for most households
— Compact footprint ideal for cramped countertops or smaller kitchens
